How long does it take to recruit nurses from the Philippines?

The time it takes from the point of signing an employment agreement to the start of a work schedule in the US is dependent upon where the individual nurse is in the process of obtaining a green card, taking the CGFNS and/or passing the NCLEX-RN. A candidate who has not begun the green card process will need approximately 12-15 months before starting work in the US. Nurses who have passed the CGFNS and/or the NCLEX-RN will take a much shorter time. Nurses who are accepted for positions that require a baccalaureate degree will be able to apply for an H-1B visa , which will significantly decrease the time it takes to obtain a visa to work in the US.
